Radio Salvation is a punxrock band formed in Padang on june 2004, untill this very day we still got a strong desire to play punxrock and spread this virus all over the city, we will keep on rockin' till they hear and notice us!!!!! Radio Salvation was born in a punxrock scene at Damar street-Damar Brotherhood-you named it dudes!!!!! and the scene give us a huge influence, on attitude and our music as well.
In the beginning, Radio Salvation was called 77th Radical, at that time the line up was Anes (vox-guitar), Ridho(vox-bass)and Aal(drum), as the time changes, Aal left the band and Iko came to fill the position, then 77th radical change the name into The Antagonist. after we plays in several local gigs with the new line up, Ridho decide to left the band cause he got a job offer, so we ask Mindo to play the bass and we also ask Mindo's brother to play guitar in the band. as we got the new line up we also change the name of the band into Radio Salvation, we decide to use this name because all of us like to lend our ears to Rancid. After plays in several local gigs with this new line up, we decide to record a song as our studio demo, the song is called One to Record and it talks about the condition of our scene at the time we wrote this song, we talk about some dickhead who like to talks about bullshit, some dickhead who got nothing in their head but a lot of shit and some dickhead who think they are brainy but actually they got no brain inside their head. but the dickhead we talk about is not a part of our scene, uhhm...........I prefer to call them intruder!!!!!!!!!
After we've finished the recording, we signed up with a local label-Whitecollar Crime Record-which is owned by Denny Sherman, guitarist and also a lead vox of Antibiotic
